Hello pshearer80 13% actual human conversations is a really useful benchmark, especially since you’ve seen it across two different B2B SaaS teams and in your own experience. It also makes me wonder how much higher that number could go if a larger percentage of those 60 dials were accurate direct dials and mobile numbers rather than company lines. That’s something we focus quite a bit on at CloudLead, making sure reps have verified numbers that actually give them a better chance of reaching the person they’re targeting. Would be interesting to see whether that 13% could be pushed closer to 20% with better coverage.

Sam D. That makes sense. Calling mobile numbers first definitely gives reps a better chance of getting through compared to relying on office lines. I’m curious though, if your reps had a higher percentage of accurate mobile numbers available for the people they’re targeting, do you think that 5–10% connect rate could move noticeably higher? I’ve been thinking a lot about how much of connect rate comes down to the calling approach versus simply having the right number to call in the first place.
