Anyone else feel like AI automation in RevOps just replaced work with more cost and more work?
I’m not anti-AI (far from it). I’m just tired of being promised “easy automation” and then paying in time, sweat, way more dollars, and frustration than I ever thought I would.
What’s marketed as plug-and-play turns into:
Pricing models that explode the second you actually use the thing
It’s like the effort didn’t go away—it just moved. And now it’s harder to spot until you’re deep in it.
Curious:
What’s the worst “AI tool surprise” you’ve had in RevOps?
Where did the time or cost hit hardest?
If you could wave a wand and get the right thing—what would it look like?
Feels like a lot of us are pretending this stuff is working.
