Jared R. what you are saying will help you answering WHO is in the community, but I recommend also thinking about the WHY. Why people join? That will reveal their motivation to stick in the community.

So , once people answer a question they are more likly to answer the next question. However I don't have stats what's the optimal number. And I'd argue that it's audience dependent anyway. Regardless there are ways to ask a few light questions at the beginning. And once they are already in your list or coming back to your website keep asking more questions to collect more data .

Kabir, tell me what will be their reason to work with you and not others. I think that they'd see US/western people as more reliable ( No racism here, just our natural bias to connect to someone similar to us). I'd suggest trying to meet people in conferences and create personal connections through that. another option I can suggest is sponsorship of newsletter that have ecom ppl as subscribers.

Interesting Adbul, I'm probably doing something wrong, because I've been sending the LI newsletter consistently, but not a lot of resutls from it.
