Quick question for salespeople and RevOps folks ๐ I'm doing some research into how sales teams decide which accounts are actually worth pursuing and when. I'd love to hear from people who do outbound, territory sales, account-based sales or support those teams. A few questions please: 1. How do you currently decide which accounts your reps should immediately prioritize? 2. What signals make you think, "this account is worth contacting now"? For example: hiring, expansion, new contracts/projects, funding, leadership changes, website activity, intent data, previous conversations, referrals, etc. 3. Which signals have actually been useful, and which tend to be noise? 4. Have you ever discovered a buying opportunity too late? What information would have helped you identify it earlier? 5. How much of this intelligence already exists in your CRM versus reps finding it themselves? 6. What's the hardest part: finding the right accounts, knowing when to approach them, understanding why they might buy, finding the right person, or something else? Will appreciate real examples please rather than what theoretically should work. I'll collate the responses and share the patterns back with the group. Thank you
