Hey everyone 👋
Lately I’ve been spending time learning about PropTech, and I’m trying to understand how people here see the space evolving.
From the outside, it feels like the industry has huge potential, but adoption seems slower than most SaaS markets. Real estate teams still rely heavily on legacy tools, spreadsheets, and offline processes, so introducing new tech often means changing long-standing workflows.
A few things I’m curious about:
• Which PropTech categories are actually seeing strong adoption today?
• Where do you think the biggest opportunities still exist — leasing, property management, data platforms, AI for real estate, transactions, etc.?
• If you’ve sold into real estate companies, what GTM approaches actually work?
Also trying to understand the limitations in this space — long sales cycles, fragmented buyers, resistance to change, or anything else people commonly run into.
Would love to hear perspectives from anyone building, selling, or working in PropTech.
Always happy to connect and learn from others in the space.
