Hi everyone — excited to be here! I’m Joubert, currently working as a Global Account Manager in the life sciences sector, selling complex, highly technical services across areas like Quality & Compliance, Engineering, Validation, and Digitalization. Over the years, I’ve built and refined a structured, strategic approach to business development — one that’s deeply relationship-driven, process-oriented, and consistent. I like to think of sales a bit like high-performance sport: discipline, repetition, continuous learning, and emotional flexibility. Every morning starts at the gym, followed by cold calls — both are part of the same routine and mindset: progress through consistency. That said, working globally and mostly remotely can feel a bit lonely at times. I’m here to connect with like-minded peers who share that same hunger for excellence — people who think deeply about how they sell, not just what they sell. Two areas I’m particularly curious to discuss:
Breadth vs. depth: Selling across multiple technical domains can make it hard to become a true expert in each. I’ve developed systems to manage it, but I’d love to exchange with others who’ve faced similar challenges.
Sustaining drive: I’d love to share and hear how others keep their motivation and discipline sharp, especially when working in isolation or without many peers who share the same high-performance mindset.
This is my first experience joining a sales community like this, and I’m genuinely curious to see how people interact, what kind of conversations happen, and what others have found most valuable here. Looking forward to connecting, sharing best practices, and learning from those who’ve walked similar paths — whether you’re in consulting, SaaS, or complex technical solution sales. See you around RevGeniuses! – Joubert
