you can use claude code or codex with the playwright plugin to build a cli to automate linkedin instead of using a tool for it. all the endpoints are available and it will use your own browser profile
self serve + custom is fairly common these days specially in the ai agent space for sure. idk what you sell but if you can create a self serve tier at under $100/mo maybe $300/mo where its capacity limited just enough for them to get value i think its the right move. keep in mind if you have a jump of something like $100/mo to $5k/mo then most people on the $100/mo will never upgrade though so it has to be a realistic jump
the most common frameworks for this I've see are:
1.
Starter plan - Free or $10-$49/mo single user
2.
Pro/Team - $49-$199/mo/user (some form of moq like 3 users or something)
ya i mean if you sell to a small enough business its effectively a prosumer motion imo. if its founder of a 3-5 person team then they are going to evaluate like that instead of a traditional b2b process. definitely faced it over the years and personally im not a big fan selling into that segment unless the product is self serve at less than $100/mo. If they have traction/funded its better but they still are price conscious imo.
at the end of the day it comes down to your product acv/ltv. if its in the 4 figure range you still have to do outbound but if its less than inbound/plg would probably make more sense.

this is any sort of bottoms up plg motion no? even with chatgpt its usually the individual person buying it as a consumer/prosumer before the org deploys it to the team. cursor, figma, canva etc all should fall in the same umbrella
