Fun experiment I ran between ChatGPT Plus and Claude Pro using the exact same prompt:
“The car wash is 100 feet away. To wash my truck, should I walk or drive to the car wash?”
Claude immediately understood the context.
ChatGPT missed it, then kind of stumbled into the right idea at the end.
And that’s the uncomfortable truth most people don’t want to admit:
A lot of “AI productivity” right now is just confidence theater.
If a model can misread something this simple, imagine what happens when it’s:
• Writing strategy
• Analyzing financials
• Drafting legal language
• Making product decisions
The real skill in 2026 isn’t using AI.
It’s knowing when not to trust it.
AI is a powerful intern.
Not a decision-maker.
Use it to draft.
Use it to brainstorm.
Use it to move faster.
But if you’re letting it think for you, you’re the experiment.
