Just wanted to introduce myself real quick :) I’m a Bocconi student working on a project around fake lead detection for B2B teams.
Quick context: I’ve noticed that sales and RevOps teams still waste a surprising amount of time chasing junk leads, things like bots, disposable emails, or AI-generated requests that, at first glance, look real. Tools like reCAPTCHA seem to block the obvious stuff, but the smarter fakes still slip through.
Curious to hear from you all:
Roughly what % of your inbound leads do you think are fake or low-quality? Are existing tools actually solving it, or do you still see a gap?
Not pitching anything, I am just trying to validate whether this problem is as widespread as it seems before I go too deep building something in this space.
