Hey all! I just posted in the intro section about this, but does anyone work with creatives like Graphic Designers? I'm getting my MBA in creative ops, and right now I'm doing a ton of real-world research on how business people work with in-house creatives. So if anyone has any stories they would like to share about how you have and have not had good experiences, I would loooove to hear it in this chat, my DMs or in a little interview! ๐ I know a lot of people have had rough times with creative teams for various reasons, and I'm hoping to get to the bottom of that dysfunction and bottleneck by doing a lot of listening. ๐ฉ๐ปโ๐จ๐ฉ๐ปโ๐ฌ
Hey all! I'm Lauren, I spent the last 14 years as a creative director in NJ and Manhattan, mostly for startups. Now I am getting my MBA, studying specifically the way in-house creative departments (normally graphic design teams, but also motion graphics/production/video editing, etc.) function inside of organizations. I joined RevGenius to learn from everyone who has worked with in-house creatives in any capacity over the course of their careers how creative production functionality has impacted, positively or negatively, income streams and sales efforts. I would be SUPER grateful to have a short interview to hear about your experiences. It helps my research so much. ๐ Especially people who have been sort of the "defacto" leaders of creative teams that had/have no creative director. If you have some time to chat, that would be incredible: https://calendly.com/lbryden-charmthem/fast-5-15-minute-chat As a part of RevGenius I'd also just enjoy connecting with people who use creative output (like ads, print collateral, marketing materials, et. al) for their sales efforts. You guys have so much wisdom, and I'd love to trade any of my experience with creative ops and leadership. Anyway, here's my linkedin, I'd love to connect! ๐ https://www.linkedin.com/in/laurenebryden/ Hope everyone had a great weekend!
