We work with some of North America's largest power producers and utilities. We have recently launched a suite of new AI products and need a hunter BDR to help us sell them. The Role: We are seeking a high-performing, self-starting Business Development Representative (BDR) with experience in the utility and power generation space. This is a hunter role focused on identifying, engaging, and converting new prospects into qualified sales opportunities. You will be the first point of contact for many prospects and a key driver of our growth. What You’ll Do:
Proactively source and identify new business opportunities within the utility and power generation sectors
Conduct outbound outreach via email, LinkedIn, phone calls, and industry events
Qualify leads and set up product demos with decision-makers
Manage and maintain a robust sales pipeline using our CRM
Collaborate closely with Account Executives and Marketing to optimize messaging and targeting
Stay up to date with industry trends and market developments
What We’re Looking For:
2+ years of experience in a BDR or SDR role, ideally in a B2B SaaS environment
Prior experience selling to utilities, power generators, or renewable energy companies is required
Proven track record of hitting or exceeding outbound KPIs and lead generation targets
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Resourceful, self-motivated, and comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM tools
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with regulatory/compliance workflows within the utility sector
Attendance at or connections in utility conferences and industry associations
Compensation & Benefits:
$60k Base, $100k OTE
