Seeking PLG Companies for AI Voice Agent Pilot to Boost Signup Activation and Sales Meetings
Hey everyone 👋 I'm working on something in the activation space and would love this group's honest take (and maybe a couple of guinea pigs). The problem I have experienced: most free signups never reach first value. Emails get ignored, product tours get skipped, and the team only has capacity to manually reach a tiny fraction of new signups.
At Respond.io I built an xDR team that worked around the clock (3 time zones) to identify high value trials and book meetings with our AEs. We converted 35% of these. So I know this approach could work.
What I'm building: an AI voice agent that calls every new signup and personally walks them through setup to first value. Same call books a meeting with your sales team if the signup turns out to be a hot lead, and routes product feedback straight to your product team. Where I am: early. I've done the modelling and I'm now looking for 2-3 PLG companies to run a free 60-90 day pilot with. You'd need self-serve signups ($500+ ACV range works best), Segment or similar in place, and an activation gap you actually care about. I do all the setup, you get weekly activation reports vs a holdout group, and brutal feedback is the price of admission. Equally useful: if you think calling signups is a terrible idea, tell me why.
