Seeking Advice on Hiring a Coach for B2B GTM and Sales Success

Hi everyone, I'm a solo consultant / fractional in B2B GTM & Partnerships. Thinking about getting a coach to help with

Positioning
Messaging
Sales pitch
Closing clients

Interested in thoughts on:

should I start with a coach for one specific aspect?
is there a type of coach that could works across all of these areas?
what should I expect to pay?
how long, realistically, before I see new client wins as a result?

(I appreciate in many cases "it depends" but hope to get some insights as to peoples experiences) Thanks!

Jason — one pattern I see with strong fractional operators is that this often isn’t a coaching problem, it’s a decision-surface problem. Positioning, messaging, pitch, and closing tend to blur together when the underlying decisions (who we’re really for, what we’re willing to say no to, when a deal is actually a win) aren’t explicit. In those cases, coaching can help execution — but results usually don’t move until the decision boundaries are clarified and owned. When that’s done, improvements tend to show up quickly. When it isn’t, even great coaching feels slow.
