I'm curious to know who in this company have software platforms like these currently running and operating for the sales teams? Some of my clients have all, but many do not. I'm curious to know how many of these you guys have?
We’ve actually built Seel around this exact problem. We bring prospecting, enrichment and validation, personalized outreach, follow-ups and meeting booking into one platform, rather than having the sales team constantly moving between different tools. And beyond meeting booking, we’re building the same approach across the wider revenue lifecycle through deal execution, buyer collaboration and revenue intelligence. This visual probably explains it better than I can 👇
Hey Terry, I support many sales/marketing orgs (startups to midmarket). Typically see Notion + Hubspot/Salesforce + Gong + Apollo + Nooks (although I use Salesfinity). Didn't see Clay mentioned, but that's typically in many stacks as well. Seeing some of the more interesting plays involve waterfall enrichment at the data level and AI/automation at the orchestration/ops level.
This is interesting. I’m curious, when you’re using several of these platforms, do you find that the bigger challenge is the tools themselves, or all the work happening between them? For example, manually moving data from the sales engagement platform into the CRM, updating records after calls, making sure follow-ups happen, or keeping information consistent across different systems. Have you personally tried using AI automation to deal with some of this, or are you still handling most of it manually?
Using automation/AI heavily at top of funnel for research, scoring, and prioritizing. Lots of things are typically happening outside of the CRM, but as contacts engage, need to aggressively push back to CRM from many tools with updated info/labels for routing and follow-up. Keeping information consistent, and with the right context, is an ongoing process.
That makes a lot of sense. So it sounds like the automation itself is already doing a lot of the work at the top of the funnel, but the harder part is keeping everything connected and making sure the right context actually gets back into the CRM as the lead moves through the process. Have you found a good way to handle that today, or is that still one of the more manual parts of the workflow?
