Introducing Member Roundtables for Niche Topics and Private Groups: Feedback and Topic Suggestions Needed
@channel I hope everyone had a killer father's day weekend in the states (and nice elongated Juneteenth weekend)! Happy Monday! I've been talking to a lot of members and something keeps coming up - the idea of having more 'spaces' for niche topics (think AEO, Content, etc) and niche spaces for members (Founders, GTM leaders, etc).
- 1.
Private Smaller Spaces for Members: Last week I announced the opening of both Founders and a GTM Leadership (Director, Heads of, VP, CXO) unique private channels. (qualification is sending me a linkedin profile link via dm for me to add you - yes it's manual, the horror).

Niche topics: I was thinking that creating a unique channel for each niche topic would be a great idea month 1, but eventually would dwindle and may not actually solve the 'itch'.
So what I'm thinking: wayyy back when we had member roundtables (they were a hit) and I'm thinking about restarting them. What they are - a zoom with a member-moderator (or more than 1) discussing a specific topic in a group setting with everyone having the ability to contribute and learn. The goal is to discuss in an open forum and learn from one another. We can do an AEO roundtable (as an example) and if it's really popular, keep doing them. If it's just so/so - we can move on to another topic (or come back later). This allows us facilitate conversations f2f (digitally) vs just typing in slack. Build more community, get to know more people (authentically), and learn with others. I want to drive more value for more people and make this big space become smaller. My asks -
