Effective Methods to Prevent Duplicate CRM Records

When it comes to preventing duplicate records in your CRM, what's the most effective method? Is it a combination of processes, tools, or user training? Curious to know!!

some CRMs have built-in dedup and I think it's crucial - should be based on fuzzy match taking into account multiple elements (not only first name / last and email but also phone, url, and fuzzy match on names)

Hubspot deduplication is not bad. Just merged 4500 duplicates on our system but it is a manual process, there isn't a method to mass merge or delete.
