Any Zoho CRM + Gmail users solved the auto-BCC issue?

Any Zoho CRM + Gmail users here ? I've used HubSpot Sales Hub as my CRM of choice extensively previously and using Zoho for the first time presently. HubSpot has a web extension which when your email is configured with the CRM auto-injects a HubSpot tracking BCC code in your emails sent from Gmail to log them into the CRM. Running into an issue with Zoho where I've set up this BCC code on my Zoho Enterprise CRM backend and configured my email (I have CRM admin permissions) but this BCC code does not auto-inject on my emails when sent from Gmail. I have the Zoho web extension installed and connected to my gmail already. This is causing issues for our entire org where auto-creation of contacts, companies in Zoho and associating emails to them is not being done currently; outgoing and incoming emails get logged in Zoho only if those contacts are already existing in the CRM Anyone here faced / solved for a similar issue ? I've spoken with Zoho support already and they claim to not be able to auto-inject BCC tracking codes in Gmail presently

yeah gmail doesn't do auto bcc on its own, thats basically what the hubspot extension was doing for you. there are auto bcc chrome extensions for gmail that can add the zoho dropbox address to every send. zoho's gmail/imap sync is the other route but i think it only logs for contacts that already exist, so it won't fix the auto create part

Exactly right, I have the gmail / imap sync in place already (for myself at least, I want to find an overall solution and test it before rolling out recommendations org-wide) - it logs fine for contacts that already exist but doesn't do anything for the auto-creating of new contacts and companies. ah got it, so its the create part thats missing. i'd try zoho flow or zapier for that, trigger on new sent email in gmail, search contact by email, create contact + account from the domain if it doesnt exist. then your imap sync handles the logging. just filter out gmail/yahoo domains or you'll get junk companies

Zoho actually does have a native setting option that is supposed to create contacts at least (need to double check for accounts) if they don't exist, I have this toggled on but this hasn't worked so far (Zoho claims that even with this it needs the BCC in emails to do that but it's not practical to manually input a BCC code in emails each time across dozens of people in our org, hence the need for the auto-inject) Kshitij B.

ah yeah that toggle only kicks in for emails zoho actually logs, which is why they keep pointing you back to bcc. if flow or zapier isnt an option i'd just push an auto bcc chrome extension to the whole org through google admin so nobody has to think about it
