I am in the same space and do a great deal of B2B outbound to ecom owners. I address their pain points and offer something for free, we have a 74% open rate. Your open rates have nothing to do with your conversions. Your subject lines are poor you will gt low open rates. A/B test your subject lines, ensure you are hitting a pain point in that subject line and use their name in the subject line. "Paul, these affiliates work with your competitors". the email should have no hyper links, should be no more than 3 sentences, 4 followup mails, all highlighting a different pain point.
Love it, I wanted to know except emails what are the best channesl to start with. One important thing i noticed in emails marketing most your emails go to spam or promotion tabs even if you send it manually, the reason is the history of your mailbox so subject line will be important here i agree but what if out of 100 80 are not reaching to inboxes?

You can try instantly, you can warm up your domain using it for free for atleast 14 days as far as i remember. But I don't know how much it is gonna work if the domain's reputation is bad, maybe try switching the domain and this time take all measures beforehand so then you won't face this issue.
