Tips and Advice for Launching on Product Hunt for the First Time

Anyone have experience launching on Product Hunt? We are doing our first one this Th. and would LOVE any wisdom

Not directly. The only guidance I've heard is to moderate the expectations of what happens the day after launch day.

If you don’t have a large circle of friends who can who can upload you quickly, you will not likely get a lot of traction. The trick here is to have large community before the launch.

Product Hunt relies on 1 major factors:
your network connections that can go and upvote for the product
However math after that is more interesting. Even though u get decent traction u might not find actual customers. You might find fellow founders signup to test the product. Yet a good place for traction. I would still prefer doing it on G2. Helps to rank better in SEO.
