Best Practices for Running Scaled Cold Outbound Email Campaigns in B2B Settings
hey all, curious how others running cold outbound at scale would poke holes in our process. here's roughly how we do it start to finish: buy domains โ warm up (2+ weeks, sometimes longer) โ placement test before putting them in rotation (we go by business-inbox placement since we're all B2B, newer domains land 100% in o365/workspace even when they spam-folder consumer gmail) lists: verified only, we drop catch-all and unverified before anything goes out sending: plain text, no links, ~15-30/inbox/day, slow ramp, spread across inboxes rather than pushing volume on any one monitoring: placement test + blocklist checks, swap out anything that goes bad running ~40 domains this way. what are we missing? anything you'd consider table stakes at this scale that we're not doing?
