What’s working for reaching senior engineering executives via cold calls?
Hey everyone👋 We’re currently running a multichannel outbound campaign for our security first services + product firm and are doubling down on cold calling, particularly in the North America. Our ICP is mostly senior engineering/technical executives at mid to large sized companies (CTOs, VPs, Heads, and Directors of Engineering). We’re targeting them based on relevant buying signals, but one of our biggest challenges right now is actually getting through and connecting with these decision-makers, even when there’s a strong signal or potential fit. Would love to hear from those of you doing outbound:
What’s working best for reaching senior engineering executives via cold calls?
Any best practices around timing, call openings, or getting past gatekeepers?
Do you leave voicemails when calls go unanswered? If so, what’s your approach?
Any tips for improving connect rates or turning cold calls into meaningful conversations?
Would really appreciate sharing what’s actually working for you in the field.
