hey gang, quick q - has anyone used Reply.io for outbound cadences? Took a demo and they seem to have a solid platform with a dialer, AI variables for emails, even Linkedin Automation. I am using Apollo now but have been struggling with deliverability so will likely use Apollo for lead enrichment but looking for a new sequencer
Reply is good, the biggest use case though is multiple mailboxes/domains. Ian E. Here is what I built - the middle layer between Apollo and Reply. Solved for "BANT qualification and ICP assessment in 1min with 1 click, recommendations on how best can you get more responses and meetings." Signals are a thing of past π.
Hey Ian E., Reply.io is solid, but if deliverability is already an issue, switching sequencers alone usually wonβt fix it. Most deliverability problems come from domain setup, inbox structure, and sending architecture rather than the sequencing tool itself. Apollo works fine for enrichment like you mentioned, but Iβve seen teams continue facing deliverability issues even after moving to other sequencers because the underlying setup wasnβt optimized. Worth checking things like separate outreach domains, inbox distribution, and warm-up structure before migrating tools.
Apollo is shit when comes to deliverability. It's not just about the tool, deliverability depends on various factors like what's your ESP (Email service provider), your lead hygiene, and copy obviously. Domain reputation/age/blacklisting, warmup score, mailbox performance across campaigns also adds to the overall deliverability score. If you need help figure out what's wrong with your existing setup, feel free to DM and I'll guide you in the right direction.
Ian E., most deliverability is not a platform issue but users technical-know-how issues. From the email marketing perspective, most email messages ended up in spam because the sender is doing it wrong. For instance, if you are a new brand, you are expected to first build on your engagement & increase it to like 30% & above of your list, anything lesser than this will result in poor deliverability, making the algorithm of the email service provider you are using to flag your messages & all your email messages will end up in spam
