Hey guys, I need your input on if this is a good approach for a sales call. A founder reached out to me and said that he had a 46% response rate to his LinkedIn messages. It was a bit of a discovery call and he gave me the pitch of his product after the call. This was his message
"Hey Shaheryar, I’m building a small community of PMs exploring how AI is reshaping workflows. Would love to connect and learn from your experience."
Is this a fine message to get someone on a call and get their feedback on a product? I'm thinking of trying it out myself but I feel it's underhanded as the person doesn't know if it's a ptich. The 46% response rate has got me rethinking though.
