Hey everyone 👋 I’m Michal, founder of Red-engage. We help brands build visibility across AI search platforms like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini, and Reddit. In practice, that means creating a strong organic presence on Reddit, getting brands into the conversations their buyers are already having, and building the kind of third-party mentions and citations that AI models increasingly rely on when recommending companies. We work mostly with SaaS, tech and consumer brands on GEO / AI visibility + Reddit. Happy to connect with anyone here who’s trying to figure out how their brand shows up in AI search, or experimenting with Reddit. Always interested in swapping notes rather than pitching 🙂
How are you coping with this one?
The GEO analytics firm observed that reddit.com maintained an average of 3.83% in ChatGPT Search citations from July 18 to August 7. This share then decreased to an average of 0.52% from August 14 to August 17, marking an 86.4% relative decline. - searchenginejournal.com/why-reddits-chatgpt-citation-drop-isnt-fully-explained/586479
Our GEO services are not built on Reddit marketing. So it does slightly affect us but not dramatically. Also, this has happened before and it came back, so we expect this is a temporary measure that should last a few days, maximum weeks. If not, we will adjust our services to the latest industry best practices, which we always do either way 🙂
Hey Michal, my background is pure SaaS and tech and started at search over 2 decades ago. You are in a very cluttered category. I would love to see what it is you do that is different from the pack if you are up showing me under the hood - is it sentiment analysis, is it gap analysis, is it content suggestions, is it scheduling and posting, running campaigns, category share of search vs share of voice measurement...... I would love to chat. Feel free to book something here if you are up for it. calendly.com/ayse-elvtadvisory/discovery-call-15-mins?back=1
