Hey everyone 👋 I'm Previn, founder of Shema (shema.care). I was an addict for 10 years and overdosed three times. The third time landed me in the ICU where a nurse told me I was the only survivor of seven people my age who came in that week. Buried a couple of my best fiends. Mental health challenges and trust issues followed me for years after. Recovery saved my life, but the loneliness almost didn't let it stick. That's why I built Shema(my wife's name)z Anonymous 1:1 peer support matching based on shared lived experience, not diagnosis. People in recovery, veterans, anyone carrying mental health weight... matched with someone who actually gets it because they've been there. AI safety monitoring and escalation to professionals when needed, but the core is human connection.
