Introducing Pagia: A New Platform for African Authors, Bookstores, and Readers to Share Stories
I’m really excited to finally share this with you. For some time now, we’ve been building Pagia, a digital platform created to make it easier for African stories to be written, published, discovered, and read. And now, it’s officially open. If you’re an African author with a book you’ve already written, you can now publish it on Pagia, set your price, sell your ebook, and earn from your work while retaining your rights. If you own or run a bookstore, you can also create your own digital bookstore on Pagia, curate books for your audience, sell them through your storefront, and earn from your sales. And if you simply love books and African stories, you can create an account on Pagia and start discovering and reading books from African authors. What I particularly love about what we’re building is that Pagia isn’t just about putting books online. It’s about creating a space where African writers can reach readers, readers can discover new voices, and bookstores can participate in the digital publishing ecosystem. Whether you have already published several books or you’re still working on your first one, there’s a place for you here. Authors. Bookstores. Readers. This is for all of us. If you’re an author, bookstore owner, or simply a lover of African literature, I’d really love for you to check out Pagia and be part of what we’re building. Visit Pagia: pagia.io And please feel free to share this with an author, publisher, bookstore owner, or book lover who should know about Pagia. Let’s make African stories easier to publish, discover, read, and celebrate.
