Hey everyone, Wentao here. I used to run a VC-backed, tech-enabled ads company. The original idea was to fully automate paid media end-to-end and replace agencies with software. People bought the story, and we grew fast. But we learned the hard way that it wasn’t the future. Brands don’t want a black box. Strategy, judgment, brand nuance, and tradeoffs still require humans. What should be automated is everything around that work: monitoring, QA, pacing checks, reporting, and constant platform babysitting. So we pivoted and built AgentMark. AgentMark is built specifically for paid ads teams. It already understands how Google and Meta accounts behave, what healthy performance looks like, and what changes are risky. Agencies use it to build their own agents for execution and monitoring, while humans stay focused on strategy. We now work with small and large paid ads agencies using it for: • pacing and spend monitoring • CPC / CPL anomaly detection • creative fatigue and stalled testing • automated client updates and summaries It’s great to be here. I’d love to connect and see how you’re all thinking about using AI in ways that actually help agencies instead of replacing them.
