Introducing Vivien, Founder of Viorant, Moving to San Francisco and Seeking Connections in AI and Tech Scaling

👋 Hey everyone, Vivien here. French born, based in Taiwan and planning to move to San Francisco early next year. I'm the founder of Viorant (viorant.ai), where we are building AI deployment infrastructure, and Vio Format (vioformat.org), an open format to define AI systems as portable, versioned files. On the side, I built Aegis, an AI system we use for investor research and fundraising, which doesn't cost hundreds of dollars per month of subscription. I've been in tech since the 8086 was a CPU and the Internet wasn't public yet. Most of my career has been around building and scaling production systems. I also guest lecture on AI at universities in Taiwan, and have lectured for universities in India and Indonesia. Outside of work, I'm a serious tea fan, play the guqin, a 3,000-year-old Chinese instrument, and collect retro games. When I disappear from a screen, I usually want to be near the sea, a river, skiing somewhere, or in a remote place with very few people. I'm here to meet people building, selling and scaling technical products in the US, and to build real relationships before I move to SF.
