Building a Top-of-Funnel Engine for Conference Sales: Seeking Advice on Post-Show Follow-Up and Channel Testing
Hi everyone, I'm Harshit, based in New York City! I'm the first GTM hire at Bantor (bantor.ai), where we're building conversation intelligence for people who sell at conferences and trade shows. We capture what actually gets said at the booth, pull out the signals, and draft the follow-up. My job is the part nobody's solved yet: building the top-of-funnel engine from zero. Right now that means testing ICP hypotheses, standing up signal-based triggers, and figuring out which channel actually produces meetings instead of activity. Two things I'd love from this group. First, if you sell or run field marketing at in-person events, I'd genuinely like to hear how your team handles post-show follow-up. Second, for the GTM folks here: when you're testing multiple channels at once with small sample sizes, how do you decide when you have enough signal to double down versus when you're reading noise? Would love to connect! ๐NYC linkedin.com/in/harshit-sharma-76b906198 GTM, Bantor Outside of work: I love to travel and go Skiing ๐
