Introducing Lisa: Founder & CEO of PeakWaves Studio

Hi everyone — glad to be here. I’m Lisa, based in Colorado, and Founder & CEO of PeakWaves Studio. I work as a brand and growth strategist, partnering closely with founders, operators, and leadership teams to create clarity, trust, and sustainable momentum. My background spans early hands-on business operations, finance and audit work with high-growth companies, and decades of strategy-led marketing grounded in integrity over hype. I’m especially interested in how brand, systems, and human decision-making intersect in real revenue environments. Outside of work, I’m a former extreme skier, accomplished mountain biker, and rock climber. These days, due to a chronic back issue, I do most of my thinking and working from a recliner — which has sharpened my focus and deepened my empathy. I love playing Shanghai rummy with great friends, and I genuinely love my work, my team, and my clients. I’m usually accompanied by my two pups throughout the day and well into the night — Claudi, a mini Bernedoodle named after the Mexican president, and Frida, our French Bulldog named for Frida Kahlo. We got Frida in Guadalajara after falling in love with my husband’s dentist’s Frenchie. I’m very much a night person, which you’ll probably notice from the timing of my posts. I lead with empathy and clarity and have been fortunate to build a deeply loyal, hardworking group of partners, collaborators, and wonderful clients.
