Mahesh K. RevOps isn't inherently a SaaS specific thing but I believe it was first adopted by these circles. The problems that RevOps solves exists in agencies, consultancies, and other service based businesses as well. Albeit, in a less formal manner. Glorified CRM is subjective but its use is heavily involved to determine the workings of everything. RevOps really determines how the system behaves end-to-end, in terms of revenue. There is a bit more to it than CRM alone though. It is not the same as GTM. GTM decides what you do. However, RevOps ensures that what you're already doing has no negative effects on revenue. common tools include Make or Zapier for automation, Apollo for data enrichment, Slack for alerts, and Calendly for scheduling and handoffs.
