Hi Vaibhav S. first thing slow down and learn the business inside out before trying to sell anything. Really get to know what we do, who we’ve helped before, the results we’ve achieved, and exactly who our ideal customers are. If we can’t explain it simply, we’ll struggle to sell it.
Next, pick your battles. Not everyone with a website is a fit. Focus on the “dream list” — companies with money, good traffic, and clear conversion gaps. These are worth chasing hard, while others can stay on a light-touch nurture list.
When you reach out, lead with value, not a pitch.
Also, team up with marketing. See what they’re already doing for inbound leads, and get your hands on things like case studies, lead magnets, and ROI calculators — it’ll make outreach 10x easier.
Have a clear process. Even if it’s just you right now, decide how you’ll find leads, qualify them, run calls, present offers, and follow up. Write it down so it’s repeatable. Track your numbers. know how many leads you’re touching, how many turn into meetings, how many proposals you send, and how many close. That data will show you where to improve..
Congratulations on your new role though.. You can Dm let's connect.
