I'm not a writer, I'm an account manager. We once had a tech client who was incredibly pedantic about practically every sentence we wrote. We tried all six of our copywriters, but none seemed to work for them. Eventually, we had to terminate the agreement since copy made up a big part of what we were delivering. We later found out we were the 8th agency they'd worked with in two years, which made it clear the issue probably wasn’t us.
I get it when people say, “Walk away from clients who don’t align with your vision.” But honestly, I relate more to having $1,000 in the bank, especially during tough times.
