Posting our email coverage number on September 1st. Including any number that makes us look bad.
Some of you grabbed a key when I posted about the millionphones.com phone API here in April. Email is now live on the same API — same key, same credits, one more endpoint. Same MCP one more tool. That's not the interesting part.
The interesting part: I went looking for a benchmark to measure ourselves against. The two most detailed ones published this year disagree by 19 points on the same tool. Prospeo comes in at 45.2% in one and 25.9% in the other. Findymail at 70.9% and 58.7%. Both were published by vendors, and both of those vendors finished at the top of their own test.
So I'm not running a benchmark.
On September 1st I'll publish coverage across every lookup people actually ran during early access. Not a list I picked to look good. Whatever you asked for.
If it comes back 55%, I'll say 55%.
Here's how you can make that number worth a lot more, and get something out of it.
Early access is open now. Any new account gets 1,000 free lookups — no card, no code, they're just there. Credits work on phone numbers too.
Take a list you've already enriched with something else and run it through ours. Then tell me both numbers — what your current tool found, and what we found, on the same list.
That's the comparison no vendor benchmark can give you, because every one of us would rather test on a list we picked ourselves.
Thread or DM, whichever you prefer. Rough numbers are fine. And if you'd rather just tell me what you're getting today without running anything, that's useful too.
On September 1st I'll publish the lot — our coverage, plus every same-list comparison people send in. Anyone who contributes gets it before it goes public.
