Looking to sync with anyone who has mastered the ability to leverage technology to listen to signals in Gong, SFDC and other technology to improve deal velocity (identify risks etc...). I know there are endless AI products that claim to help with this. I am looking for folks who can share examples of how it can actually be done, through the lens of a RevOps leader.
Good afternoon RevGenius friends...I've been on here for a bit but wanted to re-introduce myself and share something that might be of use to some of you. Give back to a community that has been so generous with ideas and best practices. I am a life-long seller, sales leader and sales enablement leader. My observation in working with my consulting client is that we have done a terrible job preparing the next generation of sellers for success. There are a ton of different reasons for this that I won't get into but wanted to offer something up to the group. Simply put...if you have been in sales for less than 10 years and have a Discovery call scheduled...I will gladly run through a practice role play with you ahead of time. I don't charge for it and I will give you honest, open and actionable feedback that you can apply to the actual call. And I am not your boss or your internal enablement team so it is the perfect place to experiment Why am I doing this? Because I listen to discovery calls all day and am horrified at how we have let this skill slip. It is literally the place where deals are won and lost. I also feel partially responsible for this trend and want to do something about it. My only ask is that you give me 48 hours notice and you come into the conversation willing to take real, honest feedback. And if you are a sales leader that has people on your team that struggle with Discovery- Send them my way. I'll do what I can to help.
