You’ll be responsible for editing long-form YouTube videos and turning them into engaging short-form content for LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok. What you’ll do: Edit 2 YouTube videos per week Produce up to 5 short-form clips per day Repurpose long-form videos into multiple short-form clips Use AI tools to speed up and improve your editing workflow Work quickly and iterate based on feedback Communicate clearly and proactively about what you need What we’re looking for: Strong video editing fundamentals Experience editing YouTube and short-form content Expert at using AI in your editing workflow Solid basics: pacing, captions, b-roll, sound design, hooks for short form Fast turnaround and a bias toward action Good understanding of short-form hooks and pacing Claude Code knowledge is a must Ability to build and follow AI-powered systems for content repurposing Someone who takes feedback well and iterates quickly Hunger, reliability, and being easy to work with matter more to us than 10+ years of experience What we don’t want: Someone who overthinks every cut Someone precious about their edits Someone who disappears for days without communicating Someone who relies entirely on traditional editing workflows and isn’t interested in AI-powered systems If this sounds like you, comment below or DM me with a sample of your work (even rough stuff is fine) and how you like to work.
