As Kodo’s Founding Account Executive, you’ll work directly with the founders, own deals from prospecting to signature, and turn what you learn into a repeatable sales approach. This is a hands-on selling role with the opportunity to take on more leadership as the business grows. You’ll have a direct voice in our positioning, sales process and future team, with equity in the company you’re helping build. What Kodo does Kodo is the Customer Delight Platform. We bring together customer data, research, rewards and engagement to help brands understand their customers, create more relevant experiences and build lasting loyalty. You’ll sell to leaders across marketing, loyalty, CRM and digital experience. The work starts with understanding their priorities and connecting Kodo’s capabilities to a clear business case. What you’ll own • Create pipeline. Research and prioritize accounts, develop a point of view on each prospect, and generate opportunities through outbound, relationships and referrals. Self-sourced business is a core part of this role. • Run the full sales cycle. Lead discovery and demos, establish the business case, build relationships with champions and decision-makers, and guide deals through technical evaluation, procurement and negotiation. • Make technical conversations useful. Understand a prospect’s customer data, integration needs and implementation considerations. Bring in technical expertise when needed and keep the business and technical stakeholders aligned. • Build a repeatable process. Improve qualification, messaging and deal strategy as you learn. Document what works, maintain a clear pipeline and provide reliable forecasts. • Bring customer insight into the business. Work with the founders and product team to explain what buyers value, where deals get stuck and what would make Kodo stronger. • Help build the team over time.
