You'll own the orchestration engine behind Buildkite's go-to-market motion — the data foundations, workflows, and AI-assisted tooling that let Sales and Brand operate end-to-end without tool sprawl or guesswork. You'll operate at the intersection of engineering rigor and commercial reality: someone who can ship production systems and who's spent real time inside a CRM, understands how pipeline actually moves, and knows why deals stall. What You'll Do: Build the GTM data foundation Map Buildkite's GTM and brand experience end-to-end, and build a signal taxonomy that defines what's actionable at each stage. Establish a clean, enforceable data foundation and a coherent operating system without tool sprawl. Partner tightly with Sales and Brand to turn ambiguity into clarity. Build workflows that scale. Design AI-assisted workflows that speed up human work without removing human judgment Implement guardrails and quality checks so automated output stays trustworthy Build workflows that hold up at volume. Ship and measure GTM plays. Devise and ship stage-specific plays across the customer journey, and make them measurable and iterative. Work side-by-side with Sales and Brand to diagnose funnel friction and ship fixes that stick Raise the bar for how GTM is run Document decisions, risks, and tradeoffs like an engineering team, because this is an engineering problem with commercial impact.
