You will make foundational decisions on architecture, tech stack, and product direction, working directly with the founders and early engineers. This is an early-stage role at a mission-critical startup, offering the opportunity to make a significant impact. Key Responsibilities: * Build and ship new features to enhance platform intuitiveness, reliability, and scalability. * Improve core infrastructure to ensure high performance and uptime. * Integrate new customers onto the platform, customizing solutions to meet their needs. * Interface with customers to gather insights and translate their needs into product solutions. * Collaborate closely with the founding designer and engineers to drive product direction. Qualifications: * Degree in Computer Science or a related field (Bonus for top university). * 4-7 years of experience as a full-stack software engineer, with at least 1 year in a startup/scale-up. * Proven experience building products from zero to one, with significant individual ownership. * Proficiency with React, TypeScript, and AWS. * Strong product and design instincts, ideally with a portfolio/examples. * Experience at a high-growth, early-stage startup (Seed - Series D). * At least one clear signal of excellence (e.g., top school, well-known companies). Nice to Haves: * IoT experience or experience building software for hardware-connected products. * Strong portfolio showcasing design-focused work with seamless UI/UX. * A 'chip on shoulder' mentality with a proven track record of overcoming challenges.
