Hi everyone! If you have experience building seller playbooks, what tools or templates do you use to make them a bit more visually appealing/engaging. Right now, our team has a dense playbook in Word that is super organized but a bit of an eyesore
Hey! Yeah, I’ve worked on a few seller playbooks, and totally get what you mean Word docs can be super detailed but not the easiest on the eyes. What’s worked well for me is moving the content into Notion or Google Slides. Notion is great for making things interactive you can break it into sections, add toggle lists, embed videos or GIFs, and make it feel more like a living doc. If you're presenting or training, Google Slides with some light design (using Slidesgo or Canva templates) makes the info more digestible and visually appealing. For step-by-step processes, Tango or Scribe is a game-changer they auto-generate visual guides with screenshots as you do the task. Happy to share templates if that’s helpful!
Ore O. — if I may suggest something: feed your playbook to AI and give reps the ability to interact with it via voice or text. It’s a 1-day setup, and your reps will genuinely thank you for it. With dense playbooks, reps often find them cumbersome and hard to use in real time, no matter how well-written they are. But when they can simply ask, “What should I do in this situation?” — and get a clear answer on the spot — that’s a gamechanger.
Rudy R. — this depends on the playbook and its contents. The challenge with playbooks is making them usable in the moment that matters, in a way that actually drives behavior change. It’s not enough to simply create a playbook and expect reps to reference it during high-pressure, short-decision-time moments. To be effective, playbook content needs to be surfaced at the exact time it’s needed. One way to do that is to feed the playbook into an AI tool, allowing reps to interact with it quickly via. chat— like a coach who knows all the plays. Even better, with some light AI integration into the CRM and live call access, you can deliver real-time guidance to the rep. That’s how I approach it. I hope that helps.
