So, Iliyan I., in my experience (and this is solely based on my experience, so please take it with a pinch of salt), there is a funnel. I've seen some pages with 1k+ followers posting good to average content and get a lot of engagement. The key is in the right distribution. If we write good content but there isn't enough or correct distribution, it fails. Have enough attention, and bam, whatever you say on the platform, gets engagement.
For X, I've had a cold start problem. But I could bring 110 followers to our page within a month. And I did that by FULLY engaging with our ICPs. Genuinely having conversation, dropping advices (completely solicited) whenever asked, and liking and reposting their content.
Social media should be treated as social media. Socialize first, and then do your thing simultaneously. It genuinely works. It did for me atleast.
If I'm being wrong here, please correct me, I am here to learn as well! 😃
