In my experience, when you need to talk to founders/leaders you have to offer something they can't buy since their time is worth a multiple of their staff's hourly billing rates. What can you add to your offer?

Hi Ryan P., I one did this similar experiment. It took a month of research and compiling resources which the founders found useful. The narrative I built and which was also based on truth was that I was interviewing 100 folks in that space, and compiling a grand report. I booked interviews on premise that we would be offering that gated report to participants for free. Make sure you have hyper niched the pain point you are covering in that report. Might take a bit of asking around as well. If you need help in recruitment, I have a recommendation as well
