Biggest Data Challenges in Sales and Marketing: Tools, Accuracy, and Outbound Strategies
Curious to hear from the sales & marketing leaders here What are the biggest challenges you're facing when it comes to data today? There’s so much noise around data, intent signals, enrichment, AI, personalization, automation, etc. — but I’m more interested in what’s actually working. When it comes to outbound specifically, how important is data to your motion today? Things like accurate direct dials, finding the right decision-makers, enriching what you already have, scoring/prioritizing leads based on your ICP or preferences, intent signals, prospect intelligence, etc. Also curious: Who, in your opinion, is the best data provider right now when it comes to accurate direct dials + useful intelligence on prospects? Not necessarily the biggest database — but the one you actually trust for accuracy. And one more thing I’ve been thinking about — is the data tool itself enough? Do you still feel the need to have a VA/researcher on top of these tools to clean and verify the data, research accounts, update the CRM, build lists and generally help manage the process — so SDRs can spend more of their time actually selling? Would love to hear what’s actually working for people here, and what still feels broken.
