Hey folks, solo founder here. I keep testing my own stuff, and it feels fine, but I’m still not sure how to get real clients in the door. Has anyone here tried @gojiberryai for service businesses? Worth it or skip it? Any honest feedback for me from a real user, please!
I've done lead gen for 4+ years now and seen all these "get leads on autopilot" tools come and go. They all suck compared to doing it yourself:
Buy domains (In batches, 4-5 at a time to not get blacklisted on SURBL)
Set up emails (50/50 split outlook and gmail)
Build an actual ICP (not "b2b saas")
Build a front end cold traffic offer
Test a BUNCH of copy (500 sends each minimum) and tweak
Answer leads asap, follow up, contact other decision makers from same company if they ghost
Just closed a $14,000/mo client doing this. It works very well.
Could go waayyy more into detail for each but that's really all you want to do. But in the end, if your offer is dud nothing will work.
I see... that makes sense. I often notice people discouraging email marketing and, instead, placing greater emphasis on direct outreach via LinkedIn.
Both work well. Neither work without a good offer. Email will book more calls because of 100x volume.
skip it. You truly need to understand the pain and build off of that. You have all the answers. Don't try to put anything on autopilot until you manually test enough to understand truly deeply, that you know what to talk to, why you're talking to it, how to talk to it, who to talk about it and where to talk about it. Don't automate until you sincerely know all these answers, and you just need to throw gas on the fire.
It's solid but I'm just seeing the results on LinkedIn and email outbound not strong enough vs 2-3 years ago which makes it very hard to scale with I'd recommend pushing more towards ai enabled community marketing and ai enabled personal branding
Just gotta keep up and adapt. When I started with cold email the norm was 130/emails/day/inbox, today it's 10-15 lol. Things change but the fundamentals the same. Don't chase shiny objects. AI enabled doesn't really mean anything.
I spent 15 years selling to small businesses, and the first clients rarely come from the product feeling ready. They come from talking to 20 to 30 owners directly and learning how they describe the problem in their own words. Outbound tools help once you know that message, but they won't find it for you. I'd start with a short list of owners you can call this week.
