Hiring a Filipino VA from an Agency vs Independent: Costs, Setup, and Experience Insights

Hey folks! Has anyone ever hired a VA from an agency? Better if it's a Filipino VA. Some questions: Was it an hourly setup or monthly? How much did you pay? How was the experience, in general? Especially that it's from an agency (I've never had agency dealings before) Would you say it's better to hire a VA from an agency or independent VAs are better? Thanks so much!!
