Instagram Email Button Not Working? Troubleshooting Tips Here!

Am I the only one whose email button won't open the email app on IG? It used to automatically open my gmail and I could see that person's email. 😮‍💨 i tried everything—uninstalling then installing again, clearing cache, still nothing.
