Hi everyone! im currently scoping out building a cold outbound engine using tools like Smartlead or instantly. However, I need the tool to be either SOC2 or ISO27001 compliant. does anyone have any recommendations?
Apollo is good, and the credits are pretty cheap which is nice. Some of the outbound features are less evolved though. I had built most of our outbound in AmpleMarket which was a great tool, though credits were quite expensive, so when we were ramping up outreach I used Apollo and webhooks to enrich the info in HubSpot and AmpleMarket. Couple reasons why we didn't switch over entirely from AmpleMarket- the LinkedIn intent features were quite good (pretty sure it's similar to Clay in that regard). Also, the customization of A/B testing outbound messaging and conditional values in the tokens in the email were great, so as to reduce likelyhood of being flagged automatically as spam).
It honestly depends on your budget.. I was going to put in the chat a cheaper alternative that would not be as costly as those tools for beginners, but they weren't compliant. I found some which are Last week, I spent time testing a leaner setup—and here’s how I now run a compliant, high-quality outbound system for under $10/month:
Scrape leads from LinkedIn using TexAu (ISO 27001 certified) filtered by company size, title, and industry. For CRO agencies, I target SaaS, eComm, and info product founders.
Verify emails with Mailcheck or Neverbounce — both are SOC 2 compliant and cost just a few cents per verification.
Send personalized cold emails using n8n (self-hosted) or Make.com (for MVP testing) + Zoho Mail ($1/mo SMTP), and log replies into Google Sheets with tags for hot/warm leads.
This setup lets you punch well above your weight without paying for bloated “all-in-one” tools. If anything’s unclear or you'd like a walkthrough or template, happy to help 🙏
This is interesting curious to learn about how if it can intergrate with hubspot etc ill reach out to you privately
Tanmay A. since you’re using texau, maybe we can be a great value add: theboomerang.co
+1 for Amplemarket if you have some budget. +1 for Apollo if you have less budget, but need to do the essentials
