Hi! Got these questions from a friend who is in Revops in the Saudi region - 1. How do you handle the intense seasonality that comes from ramadhan / eid / ramzan? Since clients are usually working from home or unavailable, pipeline is severely affected. 2. How do you generate leads in the Dammam region? She is shifting heavily to Whatsapp based outreach. Would appreciate any insights that could help her!
Hey Gargi N.! As someone who does Ramadan, I tend to do most of my work early on the day or after Magrib (times change depending on location, but mostly is at 6/7 PM. Focus on early reaching out to them, and following up later at night, usually we are on a better mood after we eat! For outreach, I always use Apollo or Zoominfo! Just change the region sector and you will be good
Hi Owais, this is very helpful. I have shared your Linkedin with her.
Hi Gargi N. ,
I’ve worked in the Middle East market for 2 years, and during Ramadan, people usually start working early—right after the Fajr prayer—and finish by early afternoon. So, it’s best to reach out to them through calls or emails during that time. Also, during this month, prayers often take priority over work, so it can be challenging to keep the sales pipeline active. I’m not sure there’s a perfect solution, but adjusting communication times might help a bit.
2. I’m with Selling.com, and I can share 150 to 200 mobile numbers of key decision-makers in the Dammam region that she’s targeting. She can use this data to test her WhatsApp outreach and see how it performs. Let me know if your friend would be open to a quick 15-minute call sometime this week.
