Hey folks - wondering what people's preferred data vendors are? We're currently looking to switch from Apollo as we don't want the same vendor for sequencing and data. We are a b2b2c marketing company focused on large enterprise consumer brands in the North American market. The solution needs to have robust account and contact level data, and integrate well with Salesforce and ideally also Outreach who are likely going to be our vendor for sequencing going forward. Not too fussed about intent data and various claims of AI market intelligence, I just want good data in an easy to consume format with reliable support. I know Zoominfo are big in this space but they're quite expensive for what you get. Seamless? Hubspot Breeze? I know the cool kids are on Clay but the learning curve and bottle neck-y nature of the tool is a deterrent. What are the second coolest kids using these days?
What have you found when it comes to Apollo accuracy and availability for your ICP? Maybe we can jump off from there.
What company-level and person-level data are you looking for? I feel each data vendor has different strengths, happy to help.
You should check out Bitscale as a better alternative for to Clay (the real cool kids are on Bitscale 😉 ) It requires minimal setup and learning curve compared to clay btw
Dr. D. thanks! For contact data it would be name & title, company, email, phone number, and LinkedIn. For accounts we have a lot of bad firmographic data that needs cleaning so things like name, domain, industry, HQ, revenue, employee count, NAICS code and ownership hierarchy. Bonus points if we can see their marketing budget.
Yeah I fee like that's been the case with most major data platforms.
Hmmm yes this is my concern too. A lot of these vendors want to differentiate around their buying signals or "AI market intelligence" and I've never found either to be particularly useful. When I interrogate the actual means by which data is sourced its always the same story.. scrape + buy + validate (but few will say who they buy from or how they validate). Another challenge I'm having is account data - Apollo is simply not doing its job enriching our SF accounts and keeping them up to date and a lot of the industry seems focused on contacts only.
