Hi guys, quick question on outbound marketing. What channels have worked best for you in B2B, especially in the D2C/e-commerce space? Also, how do you approach actually selling a solution through outbound? I’ve been trying it lately, but the open rates and conversions have been quite poor. Our GTM is defined, but execution feels messy right now. Would really appreciate hearing what’s worked for you especially from those who’ve cracked outbound in this space.
LinkedIn. I run this for all my clients and help them expand their outreach by helping them leverage borrowed extra LinkedIn profiles to expand their reach. My reply rates are at the lowest 20% and at the highest 70% depending on industry. For D2C e-commerce it's been traditionally on the lower end, probably 30%ish. But that's still great vs email. The approach to sell via outbound is to build a relationship and don't sell in the first few messages or first few conversations. Take it slow, build rapport, find the pain points, capitalize, and then you can sell.
Just keep testing and running/iterating FAST.

Rohit I’ve worked in cross-channel outbound for 20+ years. Email is great, and even if you “customize” your messaging using AI you’re still not going to win easily. I recommend tiering your targets then employing a slightly different strategy for each tier, including involving outbound phone and even (in some cases) direct mail. Let me know if you want to talk.
